INTRODUCTION
This VESI Fieldworkers Handbook – 2008, is an updated compilation of work practices for the use of VESI field based personnel.
The VESI Fieldworkers Handbook incorporates a revision of the 2006 VESI Fieldworker Handbook. The Handbook is not intended to contradict the National Competencies or materials commonly used by RTO’s.
STEERING COMMITTEE
The new VESI Fieldworkers Handbook – 2008 Edition has been produced under the guidance of a Steering Committee comprised of members from the VESI:

OWNERSHIP
Ownership of the VESI Fieldworkers Handbook lies with the VESI Distribution and Transmission businesses. The Handbook is sponsored by the VESI Green Book Committee.
REVISIONS
The Steering Committee will meet every 6 months, or as required, to review the content of the handbook to ensure that it remains up to date with industry standards and safety initiatives. The most recent revision is dated November 2008 and can be downloaded from this website.
Further revisions to this handbook can be initiated via the “member” organisations. Any person wishing to suggest a change/review to the FWHB can be initiated via the contact us area on this web page.
The Field Practices Manager will review suggestions and forward relevant matters to the Steering Committee.
Only the VESI Fieldworkers Handbook Steering Committee can authorise changes/revisions to this handbook.
